Rod seals OD for control cylinders and servo systems

OD type piston rod seals are composed of PTFE rod seals and O-rings for rod and plunger seals on hydraulic cylinders.

OD seals are especially suitable for control cylinders, servo systems, machine tools, quick response cylinders and construction machines. It is used in conjunction with the double lip dust ring to achieve optimal sealing characteristics.

The preloaded piston rod seal must be free of dynamic leakage to the atmospheric side under all operating conditions and must be a sound static seal when the machine is stopped . In addition to reducing friction to improve mechanical efficiency, and to be easy to install in small grooves. Cost and service life must meet the high expectations of users. With the introduction of OD, for the first time, we are able to use multiple seals. This series sealing system provides good static and dynamic sealing performance without harmful “trapped pressure” between seals.
